However, my excitement quickly turned to frustration when I encountered a power issue. Whenever I restarted the device, it wouldn\u2019t turn back on, claiming it had 0 percent battery and when powered on it would boot up but then shut down immediately. This issue rendered my phone unusable until it was placed into tge charger again.<\/p><p>By summer 2022, I decided to send the device off for repair, reporting the power issue and an additional problem with the microphone not working on certain apps. Upon receiving the device back, I was pleased to find that the power issue was resolved. The microphone issue also seemed to be fixed initially.<\/p><p>Unfortunately, this relief was short-lived. The microphone problem reappeared intermittently. Sometimes, contacting support and following their troubleshooting steps would temporarily fix the issue. However, as of 2024, these troubleshooting steps no longer work. The microphone fails to function on the dialer app, Telegram, and other similar applications, although it works fine on Snapchat and the camera app.<\/p><p>Given these recurring problems, I contacted support twice more, only to be told that my device needs to be sent off for repair again. This time, however, it is out of warranty, and the repairs would incur a cost. This series of issues has severely eroded my trust in Google. I am disappointed that a flagship device from a major tech company would be riddled with such problems.
